Grandma

Grandma Strong and Devin going for a ride on her walker.

Today was a emotion day for me. My Grandma Strong passed away. She had been struggling for the last 4 months with her health. I fell like I lost a great friend and Grandma.

I had to think to myself as I watched Grandma move on to her new life, of what how many great people she will encounter. One she will be reunited with my father who passed away 12 years ago and to think of the reunion that she will have with all of her friends and family that has passed on before her, as they opened there arms and telling her "Welcome Home".

I just want to thank my Grandma for always being there for my family and for providing a great son (Dad) who taught us the values of life and understanding.

She was a person who always cared about everyone and never forgot a Birthday and you could always expect a card to remind you that she was thinking of you. This great lady had a long and prosperous life, she went through the tough times that many of us could not even comprehend and some great times that turned into the best times of her life.

One thing about her is you could not walk away or hang up the phone with out her saying she LOVED YOU, and as she was taking her last breath, the last words that I heard was that she Loved Us.

Love You Grandma!
